About Mina Hasegawa
After studying for a degree in set design (scenography) at Musashino art university in Tokyo, Mina started her dream career as a florist.
She has worked for luxury florists in Tokyo and London where the clients were five star hotels’ weddings and events as well as their installations. She also worked as a freelancer in London where she arranged flowers on a weekly bases for Hermès, Fendi and Dior.
With over 16 years of experience in both England and Japan, she has been exposed to both cultures and styles, which she now combines in her designs; the traditional natural English style merged with the delicate sense and detailed techniques of Japan.
She is a keen listener and always tries her utmost to understand her clients’ needs, and she takes great pride and satisfaction from being able to capture the images her clients’ have in mind and translating this into the final creation.
